The Electrostatic Palette is a drop-in module for either PBO Lab 2.0 with the TRACE 3-D Application Module or PowerTrace 2.0 that provides a set of elements for modeling electrostatic lenses and accelerator columns. The Electrostatic Palette includes three einzel lenses, two electrostatic accelerating columns, three electrostatic prisms and two electrostatic quadrupoles. A procedure for defining continuous (2-D) beams in TRACE 3-D allows space charge to be included in the simulation of dc beams with electrostatic elements.
Features
Professional Version Available (for
PowerTrace only)
The Professional version includes
the complete FORTRAN source code for TRACE 3-D so that users can
create their own custom versions of PowerTrace with TRACE 3-D.
